I know that is what we tell young people when we want them to patriotically be good people, but is it the truth? Just like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny as kids grow up they learn the values of the adults, and they soon realize where there is not a void in values there is complete disagreement on what values we should have. Half of the country tells us that every woman has a right to chose what to do with her body and the other half of the country believes the child has the right to live.
